The StrideSheet approach

Privacy

StrideSheet has no accounts and no server storage. What you type stays on your device; you can delete anything saved with one button.

What you type stays on your device

The running tools work in your browser. The distances, times, dates and notes you type are not sent to us or to anyone else. We have no accounts and no database.

Saving on this device

Your kilometres or miles choice is remembered in your browser's local storage on this device. Previously saved tool settings may also be stored there. The training log stores run dates, distances, times and notes in the same browser on this device. It does not sync between devices. Clearing browser storage can remove your runs; use CSV export to keep a separate copy. You can delete everything this site has saved here:

Share links

A share link holds your tool settings after the # sign in the link. Browsers do not send that part of a link to a website, so the settings only reach the people you send the link to.

Downloads and printing

Your results are prepared in your browser. Save PDF downloads a PDF file to your device. You can also use Print and your browser's print menu.

Analytics and cookies

We would like to count visits with Google Analytics cookies and see which pages and tools are used. We only use them if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Google Analytics never receives what you type into a tool, your share links or the names of files you download. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie choices at the bottom of every page.

Hosting

Like any website, the hosting provider may record standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested. [Hosting details: to be supplied by the owners.]
